Daily Struggle...

It is because of things like these.....

That I MUST lace these up everyday in an effort to undo the damage caused by "taste testing."

I am so thankful for this beautiful weather we have been having. It is so much easier to stay active and motivated when it is warm out.



Granola time....

I really wanted to bake something healthy today in honor of this beautiful weather we have been having. I finally decided on granola for 3 reasons:

1. It is delicious with fresh fruit and yogurt.

2. It is baked only at 250, so it won't feel like Death Valley inside

my house by the time it has finished baking.

3. My boys LOVE it!!

Bridal Shower....

The morning of Beth's bridal shower was a bit hectic, but these 2 sweet girls were a big help in the kitchen.  They did such a great job helping decorate cupcakes and filling tart cups. Thanks girls!!

It was an amazing weekend spent with great friends and family!

Rainy day treats....

I am so happy to finally be settled in our new house and baking again. These warm Apple Streusel Muffins are the perfect way to end a cold and rainy day.
